Oh My heart, My heart…

You say,

Why do you seek vengeance when God is Most Just?

For, Al-’Adl, is one of His divine attributes

Then obviously you will hurt when others seek to take advantage

Oh my heart, my heart,

Be, yourself just and firm, for this is quite needed

And, justice at times demands a bit of sternness

For truth,  honor and obedience.

Be just and do not cross the limits.

“O you who believe…
never let the hatred of others towards you
make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice.
Be just – that is next to piety.“
